OUR 12TH CONSECUTIVE BAUMA!

After celebrating our 100th Anniversary in 2011, we are proud to have reached another milestone, with our 12th consecutive appearance at Bauma Munich, in April 2013.

Within a newly designed stand in Hall C2 (Stand No.426), we will be featuring the complete range of P&V Rock Drilling Tools, Demolition Tools for Boom Mounted Hydraulic Breakers and Contractors’ Tools for Handheld Machines.

At the centre of the display will be our new range of Threaded Button Bits featuring our latest designs, which have been tested and proven in worksites all around the World. To celebrate this particular launch, the Bits also feature our new “high visibility” finish, a really new variation on the well known “P&V green”!

P&V has been responsible for many innovations in Rock Drilling and Breaking. We developed the manufacture of Percussive Button Bits in the mid 1960s, we established the first facility for overall carburising of Drill Rods in Europe and originated the manufacture of Male/Female Drill Rods. P&V also manufactures the widest range of Demolition Tools for use with most types of Boom Mounted Hydraulic Breakers and is the only remaining UK manufacturer of tools for Handheld Breakers.

P&V products are in continual use in many prestigious products and worksites, surface and underground. Our reputation for performance and quality is respected around the World. With our own Steel Rolling Mill, we offer the security of supply that is the envy of most other manufacturers.

We are looking forward to welcoming not only longstanding dealer/distributor friends from around the World but also to beginning new relationships with new contacts.

We look forward to meeting you in Hall C2, Stand No.426!

100th Year celebrations!

P&V is very pleased to be celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year and we’re obviously very proud to have reached this major milestone.

We see it as a testimony to the work of all our employees, past and present and to the support and trust of our owners, Mike Brunner and his late father Fred. Above all, to the support of our customers and trading partners around the World.

As part of the celebrations, we recently hosted a series of Open Days, when we welcomed more than 80 customers and dealers from most of our markets, here in the UK, across the whole of Europe, Asia, Southern Africa and South America. The Open Days were a great opportunity, not only to show our visitors the new production facilities we’ve installed but also to discuss future developments together and of course, to say thanks for all the support we receive.

Being 100 years old, as you’d expect, we try to think long term and that’s always our philosophy when we enter into our business relationships. Our oldest dealer, Oswald Record, has worked with us since 1924 and we’ve worked with many of our International dealers for several decades. We’re very proud that in those commercial relationships, we’ve also been able to develop strong personal friendships along the way.

Thanks once again to everyone involved and here’s to the next 100 years!
