Spanish Speaking Export Area Sales Manager

Reports to: Head of Sales

Padley & Venables is a global leading manufacturer of high quality tools, for use in Rock Drilling, Quarrying, Mining, Tunnelling, Construction, Civil Engineering and Demolition industries.

We are looking for a Spanish Speaking Export Area Sales Manager to join our successful sales team.

The position requires a confident sales manager who can look after existing customers but can also find and develop new markets and improve sales.

You will be office based at our modern offices in Dronfield but regular overseas travel to visit existing and potential customers and to attend exhibitions is required. You will have individual responsibility to manage a defined territory.

Duties will include:
  • Develop relationships with new clients in your territory (Spain & Latin America) whilst maintaining strong relationships with existing client accounts
  • Achieve planned sales targets & goals
  • Develop quotes, proposals and price lists for clients
  • Regular reviews of customers and progress of sales pipeline via sales meetings
Experience desired but not essential
  • Excellent Spanish communication skills both written and verbal to communicate with existing dealers and potentials
  • Target driven, self-motivated and present a professional image
  • Must have a proven track record in sales
  • Mining, Construction or Civil engineering industry sales experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative
  • Flexible to the needs of the customers and the business
